I am a fourth year undergraduate student studying Biology with a concentration in Marine Biology and a minor in Mathematics. I currently work as a research assistant in the Hughes Lab, where I contribute to ongoing marine ecology research. My passion for the ocean began at a young age, particularly in the areas of marine mammal behavior and conservation. This interest has driven me to pursue hands-on experience both in the lab and in the field. I plan to further my academic career by attending graduate school this fall, where I aim to deepen my understanding of marine mammal behavior and the impact of environmental changes on marine ecosystems. Beyond academics, I volunteer with marine mammal rehabilitation efforts, and in my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors and reading.
